ACTS Academy

ACTS Group of Institutions (formerly known as ACTS Ministries) was started as ACTS Institute in Bangalore in 1979, by Dr Ken Gnanakan and his wife Prema, on their return from England, where Ken had just completed his PhD at London University. Along with his brother, Dr Richard Gnanakan, they built ACTS from a small institute into the large organization it is today, with work spread across India.

ACTS is an acronym for Agriculture, Crafts, Trades and Studies and the vision has remained strong over the last three decades. Today, ACTS is committed to total development through projects that revolve around education, environment and health programmes. The work at ACTS includes a number of exciting projects, including slum schools, a village community health centre, bio gas production, and government-recognised schools and colleges that provide affordable quality education across India
