Life Community Church

Life Community Church is a large church located in the Columbus area in Hilliard, OH. Our church was founded in 1997 and is Non-Denominational / Independent.

Life Community is an independent, evangelical local church. We are connected with FEC (Fellowship of Evangelical Churches), a group of like-minded churches committed to reaching this generation with the message of Jesus Christ. We are also a member of the Willow Creek Association, a non-structured network of churches dedicated to reaching those who don't know Christ. We have cell groups that meet in homes most evenings of the week.

Mission:

To glorify God by functioning as His corporate body for the purpose of exaltation (worship, praise, honor), edification (spiritual growth, love, service), and evangelism (outreach with the gospel, multiplication).

Vision:

To be a church that excels in bringing people into meaningful, growing relationships with Jesus Christ and others. We will use contemporary expressions of faith to help people mature, serve, and worship effectively, and will cultivate an environment of grace, authenticity, and intimacy.

Cathedral Church of the Redemption

The story of the Cathedral Church of the Redemption India revolves around its journey from an Englishman's congregation to a multicultural one. In its diversity and its community work, the present Church has come to fulfil the founders' vision of a common home, a meeting place for all sects and creeds.

Tucked away from the bustle of New Delhi, in the quiet Church lane north of Jaipur Column and to the west of Parliament House at North Avenue, stands the Cathedral Church of the Redemption India. The Church's centralized plan blends neatly with Sir Edwin Lutyens city plan. With Viceroy Lord Irwin's keen support, the Church, built on Henry Alexander Medd's (1892-1977) design, was opened for public worship on Sunday, 18 January 1931. H.A.N. Medd's design was inspired by the Palladio Church of Il Redentore in Venice as well as Lutyens Hampstead church.

The Church, a witness to nearly eight decades of history, is a sanctuary of quiet meditation, prayer and generous giving. It is home to a vibrant parish and a wonderful tribute to Indian Christian life.

Seventh Day Adventist Church

The aim of the Seventh Day Adventist Church is to spread the message of the Three Angels' messages of Revelation 14:6-12,  to all people thereby leading them to prepare for the return of jejus and accepting him as their personal savior. Adventist' reflects their strong conviction in the return (advent) of Jesus Christ, and 'Seventh-day' refers to the Biblical Sabbath which from Creation has been the seventh day of the week, or Saturday.

St Francis Church

St Francis Church is the biggest CNI Church in Delhi. Approach the front to get a better look at the serene picture of Mother Mary. There is another picture of her near the donation box which says “Mother of perpetual help, pray for us”. On the sides are tiny open rooms that have mikes used by the choir for prayers.

Uprooted from their homeland in south India, these people wandered through the heart of India treated as untouchables, unemployed due to physical handicaps. Some of them taken courage and moved in search of shelter, food and employment from home land to heart of the National Capital. Later when they saw the prosperity and opportunity in this land for which God has promised to them, they have called their friends and relatives to accompany with them. In all these years, even as they settled in Delhi by side of river Yamuna, God did not forget them.

1951: A PASTOR FINDS THE WANDERING FLOCK

Then it happened in 1951, some requested Fr. Ian Weathrall (then Vicar of St. James Church, Kashmiri Gate, Delhi and member of Delhi Brotherhood Society) to perform a burial. This led him to discover that they were Christians. He was glad to extend his Pastoral Care to them. He regularly conducted worship for them, performed a mass marriage and all other rituals. The Register entry of marriage, baptism and funeral etc. are then recorded in the books of St. James Church itself. 1957, this may be the year in which small hut was given a shape of the Chapel, by the FIRST GENERATION congregation, in Yamuna Bazar, Bank of Yamuna river. The faith in Lord Jesus Christ was very deep in them because of the solid foundation laid by their family and TLM Hospital, Vada Thorasallur, where most of the believers were together because of their illness.

Evangelical Baptist Convention Church

Evangelical Baptist Convention Church is a church located in Delhi and is an extension of the Manipur Christian Convention Church based in Manipur. They have joint worship services, by organizing prayers and worship in their rented accommodation during the weekends, on a rotational basis. Apart from being a source of spiritual solace it has been instrumental in generating a lot of employment opportunities for the community.

St Stephens Church

St Stephens Church, located on Church Mission Road, is a part of Church of North India Diocese of Delhi. It was built in 1862, by Anglican missionaries and British Department of Public Works (DPW) Engineers in typical Gothic style. The Church is highly influenced by the Romanesque architecture. The interiors of church have ornate walls and has a unique feature of stained glass rose windows.  The baroque styled church has arched windows which allow the sunlight to brighten the well maintained interiors that has motifs, pictures, carvings and beautiful furniture.
